Talent–Company Matching Platform
A GraphQL API and MongoDB schema designed around matching: talents, companies and projects modelled so every screen gets exactly the data it needs in one query.

A freelance client needed a platform that connects talents with companies and their projects.
02 · Challenge
Model many-to-many relationships between talents, projects and companies so matching queries stay simple and fast, while the front end gets exactly the data it needs.

- NestJS back end exposing a GraphQL API.
- MongoDB document schema for users, companies and projects.

GraphQL for tailored screens
Each screen fetches one query shaped for it instead of chaining REST calls.
Schema shaped by access patterns
What gets embedded and what gets referenced follows how matching reads the data.
Clear module boundaries
Users, companies and projects live in separate modules with their own resolvers and services.

Delivered the API, the data model and the interface as the sole developer, in parallel with a full-time role. The code belongs to the client and stays confidential.
